When I drove to college last year I passed through Pullman and decided to visit New Garden after seeing the glowing review online. Having tried out the food I can confidently say the food was exceptional, staff were extremely friendly and I would HEAVILY recommend this restaurant to anyone. I ordered Bulgogi and Cream Cheese Wontons and STRONGLY ENDORSE both of these dishes (I have attached photos of the mouthwatering food in this review below, I hope it also is making you hungry looking at it) . All I can say is if you have the chance please visit this restaurant, the food is so good that I was sad to leave the town knowing I wouldn't be able to go back to this restaurant anytime soon (as I had to go to college unfortunately.

Pullman's restaurant scene is bad. I have visited often enough times over the years to have tried all of the recommended restaurants multiple times at this point. New Garden is my current favorite; I believe it would have a chance to stand out in even the crowded Seattle Chinese food scene. The food is decent, the service is good, the menu is large, the prices are fair, and I like the ambiance a lot. Specific to the ambiance, I find the wallpaper and waterfall neat. I attached photos. There really isn't a downside to the restaurant except perhaps the parking.

Delicious food, quick and helpful service & lit ambience. Liked their wall paper. Food can be slightly spicier, I chose spice level #4 yet it was sweet for me 😁 We had the Hunan chicken + sweet + sour prawns + pork rice combination meal (from the special combo menu section) and schezuan fish (comes with a portion of steamed rice). Super yummy! Fish and the chicken was cooked really well. "Mal Guel Soo Rok" charcoal drink went really well with the food. The sweet and sour prawns weren't that great.

*clears throat* Hands down THE BEST in THE WEST! I've eaten at plenty of so-called "Chinese restaurants" across the state and none of them HOLD A CANDLE to New Garden. Where do I begin... the moment I entered, the waitress welcomed me in with fervor and sincerity that would not have felt out of place at even the White House. Once I was oh-so comfortably seated, she gracefully laid out a MOST MAGNIFICENT menu in front of my weary eyes: so many mouthwatering beef, chicken and seafood options that a Victorian child would seize. After what felt like HOURS of deliberation (the waitress deservedly gave me a side eye), I settled on Wonton Soup, Szechuan Chicken and House Special Chow Mein, all the while lamenting my stomach’s inability to contain the rest of what this place had to offer. As I waited for my food, I couldn’t help but notice the INEFFABLE BEAUTY that surrounded me: From the elegant and tasteful decor to the toilets that shone to a mirror polish, not a single detail was amiss. I was contemplating how MEANINGLESS life was outside those walls when suddenly I was jolted from my stupor by the sound of plates hitting the table. The food was here, and believe me when I say: My. Jaw. Dropped. The handcrafted wontons positively GLISTENED, the Chow Mein was a VERITABLE MOUNTAIN of goodness and the chilis in the Szechuan Chicken emitted an aroma so authentically spicy that it instantly transported me back to my hometown of Chongqing. (Editor’s note: Actually, I’ve never been there, but lying is necessary for dramatic effect.) Nothing, however, could’ve prepared me for the experience of finally EATING the dishes before me, which were so aesthetically presented that it pained me to no end to sully their appearances with my chopsticks. As the first piece of chicken touched my tongue, I was OVERWHELMED by flavors and emotions that were hitherto unbeknownst to me. Happiness from tasting the BEST thing I’d ever eaten, sadness from knowing that I’d never eat anything that

Oh my god! This place is served the best Korean-Chinese spicy seafood noodle soup bowl. All seafood was high quality and cleaned and trimmed so well . The soup was so well seasoned & tasty. To me, best Jambbong noodle soup in U.S. maybe even in Korea.👍🏻
